Rebecca Dohner has been a Central student since she was a freshman, having logged four years going down the halls of D-wing. She hasn’t participated in any sports since she has been at Central, but did participate in basketball before she came here. Some organizations that she has been involved in include Campus Ministry, journalism, and student council, becoming the vice president of our class for a year.

In her free time, Becca enjoys spending time with her friends, especially making “mediocre jokes,” with them. She also enjoys making friends with dogs, whether they are random dogs on the street, or her friends dogs. Her favorite Central memory was an incident that happened in social studies teacher Mr. Rice’s room, where a student, in her wording, “flopped,” out of their chair out of nowhere. She ended up laughing extremely hard about it, and even got teary-eyed.

Although Becca doesn’t know yet where she will be attending college, she hopes to pursue something in veterinary science. Based on her love of making friends with dogs, she should enjoy that very much. Her advice to underclassmen is to, “Literally laugh as much as you can.” One thing that she wishes she participated in at Central that she didn’t participate in is basketball. We hope that Becca has a great life after Central, and we all are proud of what she has accomplished thus far, and what she will accomplish later on.
