Brenna Engle has been a constant at DuBois Central Catholic for the past seven years, joining Central in 6th grade. She has been involved in a great number of sports, those sports being basketball, volleyball, tennis, and softball, but primarily volleyball and basketball. She has been a member of almost any group that you can think of, being inducted into the National Honor Society, participating in the Lead and Seed program, being on the Math Competition team, performing in school musicals and the Senior Class play, and being involved in Campus Ministry.
Some things that Brenna enjoys doing in her free time are sleeping, watching Netflix, and, when she’s not doing the latter two, hanging out with her friends. Her favorite memories of Central are being on the Homecoming Court junior year, and going to districts with the volleyball team senior year. Although Brenna hasn’t decided between going to Clarion University or Slippery Rock University, she does know that she wants to study and become a physical therapist.
Her advice to the underclassmen is to, “Enjoy high school because it goes by too fast.” Based off what she has participated in, it’s hard to believe there’s anything more that she could have done. Nevertheless, she wishes she played soccer at some point in her academic career. We wish Brenna the best of luck for the rest of the school year, and especially her life after Central.
