Yesterday, May 24th, Donna Chollock and a few of her students took a small trip in school to St. Catherine’s cemetery.  Their goal:  to stake graves for flower placement.  These stakes are to direct landscapers to graves that relatives or loved ones had paid to have flowers planted on.

It took the students quite a long time to find the headstones listed due to the sheer size of the cemetery, but they enjoyed their experience.  They hope that the families of the deceased are pleased with their work.

Mrs. Chollock has been doing this project with students for many years.  It has been a real blessing to families who live out of the area but would still like their loved one to have flowers on their grave for Memorial Day.
