The annual spirit week at DuBois Central Catholic starts on Monday, September 17th. The week is full of fun, excitement, and just good times. DCC has spirit week every year to show our school unity and of course our spirit. We go through the week being able to dress down and show our true colors ending the week with skits, and activities on Friday.

Dressing in fun outfits is a favorite part of the week.  Starting off the week will be “Manic Monday” where the students will be dressing crazy. Next up will be the colorful day of “Tie-Dye Tuesday”. Wednesday will be “Dress Code or Better” due to Mass. “College Day” will be the theme for Thursday.  Friday is “United Way Day” so everyone needs to dress for their skits in the morning and for activities to follow.

For Friday morning every grade will be ready for their skits. The sixth graders theme for their skit is “Cartoon”. Seventh will be “Superheroes”. “Action” will be the theme for the eighth grade. Ninth grade will be showing us a “Sci-Fi” skit, which will be followed up by the tenth graders “Comedy” themed skit. A “Mystery” themed skit will be presented by the eleventh grade to be followed by the twelfth graders last skit at DCC with the theme of “Horror”.

Activities will be held on the school soccer field.  The day will end with a powder-puff football game between the junior and senior girls.

Underclassmen will all need to bring something for Friday’s picnic lunch. Freshman (9th grade) is to bring soda or water. Sophomores (10th grade) is a case of water. Juniors (11th grade) is fruit or vegetables.
