March 4th is a day that many DCC students look forward to – the start of spring sports which include baseball, softball, tennis, and track. All teams are looking strong this season with tons of experienced seniors and underclassmen.  Many of the practices and conditioning sessions will take place indoors until the weather breaks.

The baseball team coached by Adam Fox looks to win another district championship and make a run to the state final with this team.

On the other end softball will be coached by George Heigel who will look to make yet another run to the district final, and states as last year did not quite turn out the way the team had hoped.

The 2019 DCC tennis team will be coached by Andy Rice who surely has a strong team as there are many returning students who are experienced.

Lastly track will be coached by Tom Shade, as well as being one of the sports that DCC co-ops with Brockway for, the runners and jumpers look to win meets, medals, and school records as the season goes on.
