On Tuesday, March 26th the DCC baseball team began their season with a great start with a win over Curwensville in an 8-2 win. The team got off to a strong start lead by the nine returning seniors. The rest of the season looks promising for this experienced, two time district champion team in the last three years. The team believes they will win the state championship which is very possible, so lets make sure to all show them our support throughout the rest of the season.

To bring more light upon the season the team was given the chance to play Greensburg, the team who knocked our DCC Cardinals out of the state playoffs last year. The Cardinals came out with vengeance looking to do what they fell short of last year. The team came out strong with a 2 run homerun from senior Justin Miknis. The game came to a  9-5 end in favor of the Cardinals.

The Cardinals play next on Saturday, March 30 at 12:30 PM against Brookville at the DuBois City Park
