With many new smiling faces of staff in our school this year, Mrs. Kelly Stringer is our new middle/high school science teacher. While she has previously substituted we are proud to announce that she will be teaching many of the science courses here at Central.

Mrs. Stringer attended Penn State and has a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science. She is also currently a graduate student at St. Joseph’s University and will graduate in December with a Masters in Secondary Biology Education. This year she will be teaching AP Bio, AP Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, and 8th Grade Science.

Mrs. Stringer chose to teach here at DCC because her 3 adorable children attend the school, and she also loves the family feel of our school. This school year she is looking forward to getting to know her students and sharing the experiences she had as field researcher.

One of her 8th grade students has reported that she told them she has met Bill Nye the Science Guy which the students find very impressive.
