DCC Senior Girls Become 2019 Powder Puff Champions

Jaci Mennetti, Staff Writer

It is tradition for DCC to end their United Way Day with a Powder Puff game between the junior and senior girls. The seniors were exhilarated when they won the game Friday afternoon, September 20th.

The game ended with a score of 9-2, which was a great comeback from last year when they lost by 2. The girls showed their competitive side since they really wanted to be victorious as it was the final Powder Puff game of their high school career.

Although the senior girls don’t get a chance to play flag football often, due to their wide range of athleticism, they were able to pull through and have a great game. Both the junior and senior girls did a great job competing. The juniors hope to get their win next year.
