This Friday, October 4, NET Ministries visited the DCC High School to lead a retreat. The students got a break from their regular classes as the retreat lasted all day.

NET stands for National Evangelization Teams. Their retreats are geared towards Catholic youths from grades 7-12. Their mission is to “Challenge young Catholics to love Christ and embrace the life of the Church.” Their purpose is also to show the youth the truth of who they are as God’s children. Through this, they also hope to show students that true happiness and purpose in life is founded through God.

The retreat included music, small group discussion, games, skits, moving dramas, and guided prayer time. It was the perfect ending to a week that celebrates the gift of life.
