Recently, DCC has accepted a new member into its family, a small corgi named Boomer. He is a registered therapy dog who travels from place to place to help people feel more comfortable in their environment. He assists the Kindergarten through 3rd Grade with learning how to read and write.

As a present for Boomer, the Kindergarten and fifth grade have decided to create a book about him. The book will describe how the kids have interacted with Boomer and how he has helped them with their reading abilities. The finished book will be placed in the school library for the rest of DCC to read so they can all celebrate Boomer’s gifts.
