This Week’s Cinderella-Gram from DCC – February 25 – Under Construction

I made the observation today that every time I go on stage, there is another amazing set piece being built or being painted. The pictures that are included show you what you will see on the stage – at this point now the finished piece is in the mind of Kris, Bill, or Dan.  Just look at the forest!

Annette Latuska and Sharon Wantuck are doing a ‘fashion show’ on March 3rd. You will notice that some of our costumes bear a resemblance to apparel you have seen in shows from Camelot to Beauty and the Beast. Call us frugal or cheap – there is some value in collecting all of these costume pieces. It is amazing what our ladies can do to ‘remodel’ some of our treasures.

Speaking of revitalizing our stash – we just happened to have Styrofoam horses from a carousel that was made years ago. Give them to Bill, attach them to a couch that Annette left with us and your have a carriage fit for Cinderella.

Remember to visit the LaLa Salon and Farley’s Fhoto Kiosk when you come to the show. The cafeteria will be turned in to a room fit for the wedding reception of Cinderella and her Prince Charming.  The LaLa Salon is a work In progress. Check next week!

Our thoughts and prayers are with Eloise this week as she underwent a medical procedure.  She is doing well.
