In the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak, Central has used remote learning beginning this week. This began on March 23, 2020 and will take place Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays until further notice. It will follow the same structure as cyber days, which students are familiar with due to past snow days. Teachers will be in charge of ensuring that students have work to keep them challenged without allowing them to be flooded with work.

Students in first grade have been constructing their own planets, kindergarten made a virtual field trip to the zoo, and older students are taking full advantage of the Internet to interact and complete assignments.

There is still uncertainty as far as the rest of the semester will turn out, but students and teachers are staying hopeful that we will eventually get back to regular classes. Students hope that we can continue our spring sports, the musical, and many other great activities that are not currently able to happen. Seniors, especially, are in high anticipation for a regular graduation at the end of May.
