Senior Spotlight: Colin Barnett

Senior Spotlight: Colin Barnett

Rachel Aravich, Senior Editor

Colin has been attending DuBois Central Catholic since the 6th grade, he transferred over from Saint Cosmas & Damian elementary. He’s two favorite sports that he participates in are varsity soccer and varsity tennis. Colin is a bright student involved in NHS (National Honors Society), senior class play, and Campus Ministry. In his free time, I like to hang out with friends, lift, play video games, listen to music, and play sports. Colin personally can’t truly pick one moment that is his favorite, but overall, he would just say that he enjoyed being with his friends the most. Whether it was just in class, at practices, or just hanging out at someone’s house he always had a good time when he was laughing and making memories with his friends. As of now, he is planning on attending Temple University to major in biochemistry, then he is hoping to attend medical school afterward. One piece of advice, Colin would like to share with underclassmen is “Make sure to enjoy every day of high school because you never know when it will be your last day”. If Colin could change anything about his high school experience it would be to cancel COVID-19.
