DCC’s Cinderella Opens to Great Reviews – Photos

Thursday, April 22, was the opening night of the Rogers and Hammerstein musical Cinderella at DCC.  Although the crowd size was limited due to the pandemic restrictions, the auditorium was filled with enthusiasm for the performance.  The lights went down and the curtains opened to a stunning set design of pastel colors that adapted to each scene.  Students in grades 1-12 filled the stage with song, laughter and exuberance, and reminded their audience of the joy of watching a musical.

According to one member of the audience, “It was wonderful, wonderful…..loved it”  Mrs. Joyce Taylor praised the performance by saying, ” The entire musical was outstanding  . . . a joyful experience for all the senses!” A Central alumnus shared, “It is Hilarious. So very well done. . . Opening night was amazing. Most definitely go and see it. You will be glad you did.”
