DCC Students March for Life

Thursday, October 7, students in first through twelfth grades marched around the building to show their support of life issues.  Fr. David Whiteford led the school in a short prayer service before the event which started in the high school and added students from each wing as the march moved past each doorway.

President Gretchen Caruso had asked the students to think of a group or person that they were supporting as they marched.  One of the high school students, said he was praying for the Afghan refugees; while another said she was keeping patients suffering with Covid -19 in her thoughts during the march.

One of the elementary students carried his own baby picture as he walked, grateful for the gift of his own life.

Life is a beautiful thing!
