Looking Forward to a Comical and Relatable Senior Class Play at DCC

The DuBois Central Catholic senior class will present Almost Maine on Friday, November 19th and Saturday the 20th at 7:00 p.m. in DCC’s auditorium. Tickets are $6 for adults, $5 for students and senior citizens, and $3 for children and are available in the DCC High School office.

One cold, clear Friday night in the middle of winter, while the northern lights hover in the sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in the strangest ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. Love is lost, found, and confounded. And life for the people of Almost, Maine will never be the same.

Propelled by the mystical energy of the aurora borealis and populated with characters who are humorous, plain-spoken, thoughtful, and sincere, Almost, Maine is a series of loosely connected tales about love, each with a compelling couple at its center, each with its own touch of enchantment.

Sophia Ginther plays Ginette, a Waitress, Deena and Ronda.  Aaron Gankosky plays Pete and Man.  Jack Adair plays East, Jimmy, and Phil.  Helena Hess plays Glory and Hope.  Megan Ochs plays Sandrine, Marvlyn, and Shelly.  Caleb Bruno plays Steve, Lendall, and Dave.  Becca Huegler plays Gayle, and Marci.

This production brings together an eclectic cast of characters who combine the elements of a  in an hysterical satirical production. Don’t miss DCC’s take on Almost Maine.
